Contemporary dancing has become one of the most dominant genres of dance throughout the world.  Contemporary dance styles originated from classical ballet, modern and jazz styles.  Contemporary dance does not used fixed moves, but instead, it has developed totally new forms and dynamics.  Contemporary dance also includes raw emotion, systematic breathing, and pushing the limits of our human form and physique.  When learning Contemporary, it is important and helpful to have a solid background in classical ballet, jazz and modern dance.
